Breaking Down Barriers | Building Bridges | Blessing the World
“Jesus dined with prostitutes. He
touched lepers. He included
women. In doing so, Jesus was
highly offensive, intentionally
inclusive and radically Bold.
He broke down barriers, built
bridges and blessed the outcast.
And now he says to you:
We hope participants will take their experiences at Bold Like Jesus to their congregations to inspire others to actively engage in the kind of ministries Jesus boldly did, so that the communities in which we live might be blessed by the hope and the love of the Gospel of the risen Jesus.
Bold like Jesus brings together pastors and lay leaders (from Lutheran, AME Zion, Episcopal, and Moravian congregations) from across North Carolina to explore what it means to be Bold like Jesus in a complex and changing world.
Join us February 2-4, 2017 at Trinity AME Zion Church in Greensboro, NC!
